Too many people in commercial roles forget the value of practice. They seem to believe that as they are more experienced they need not rehearse for key meetings and activities. The best in any skill are so, because they practice, practice, practice. Imagine a top sports star refusing to turn up for practice claiming they are too experienced. They would be off the team immediately

Why is it that senior people avoid business preparations and feel they are not needed?

Many of my clients do not have insurance because they don't have the relationships that give them protection. People who like you want you to succeed and will give you more scope for error.

    Great episode

Experience tells me that less frequent isn't always more convenient. Up to a point it is true that reduced frequency helps avoid taking tablets becoming a chore. However the contraceptive pill is so easy to take that there is no routine required. A once monthly would probably require additional reminders to ensure it was not forgotten. Pharmacodynamics would mean it probably has a window of a few days when it needs to be taken each month or risk loss of protection. There are other infrequent contraceptive technologies that already are available.
